The Govern has presented its new structure, which has reduced the number of senior officials and advisors to 17 and the number of ministries to 10, with a saving of one million euros a year. This was agreed at the first meeting of the Consell de Govern. The new ministers of the Executive were also sworn in at a ceremony in the courtyard of the Consolat de Mar

The Vice President, Councillor of Economy, Finance and Innovation and new spokesman of the Govern, Antoni Costa, has reported on the first meeting of the Consell de Govern, which has signed the new structure of the Executive of the President Margalida Prohens, and that will mean the reduction of 17 senior officials and advisors, with a saving of one million euros a year for citizens.

Costa has detailed that the new structure will reduce one ministry from 11 to 10, six general directors, one regional secretary and 9 temporary staff positions in charge of the Govern, a total of 17 fewer positions than the outgoing Govern, which means reducing the cost of the Executive from 8.42 million to 7.41 million. A saving of one million euros, or 12%.

On the other hand, Costa has informed that Fridays will be recovered as the date for holding the meetings of the Consell de Govern, as was the case until the last legislatures.
