Spartan Race Mallorca 2024: new features and registration

The world famous Spartan Race, one of the most popular obstacle races on the planet, is back on the island. Once again, extreme sport lovers will be able to test their endurance and capacity for suffering on March 16 and 17 in the Spartan Race Mallorca 2024. This edition offers three courses for adults of varying difficulty and one for children, all which will take place in the circuit of the MA-1043 road (from Gènova’s roundabout to the Coll de sa Creu) located in Palma. Participants will enjoy there the best natural environment and a unique atmosphere with “Spartans” from all over Europe. A challenge for the bravest!

New features

The Spartan Race Mallorca 2024 arrives this year with several new features. In addition to the usual categories for adults, Sprint (5 kilometers and 20 obstacles) and Super (10 kilometers and 25 obstacles), the Beast category will be held for the first time, a test only suitable for experts that includes a course of 21 kilometers and 30 obstacles. The Super and Beast categories offer two modalities: Competitive, where participants get into direct competition and compete for prizes, and Open, where runners simply put themselves to the test, which is no small feat.

Likewise, the 2024 event is called Trifecta Weekend, as it offers the possibility of completing the three races included in the program in a single weekend, which will allow the qualification for the Trifecta World Championship to be held, as it could not be otherwise, in Sparta (Greece) from November 1-3, 2024.

The weekend also includes the Kids Race 1-3K, the children’s race for little “Spartans” between the ages of 4 and 15. The race is divided into three modalities depending on age and distance: 0.8 kilometers for children between 4 and 15 years old; 1.6 kilometers for children between 7 and 15 years old; and, finally, 3.2 kilometers for children between 11 and 15 years old.
