More than half a million travellers from 178 countries have voted to choose the Best European Destinations 2023 on the renowned tourism portal European Best Destinations. The list, which is headed by Warsaw, has two other Spanish destinations: Toledo, at number 12, and the Catalan town of Tossa de Mar, in 16th place. Among the 10 favourites are Athens, Maribor, in Slovenia, Vienna, Cittadella, in Italy, Essen, in Germany, Veszprém, in Hungary, London, Grenoble, in the Alps or Mannheim, in Germany.
