La Holy Week 2026 in Mallorca, which will take place from 29 March to 6 April, will feature an extensive programme of cultural and musical activities throughout March and the first days of April. Exhibitions, concerts by musical bands, musical gatherings and traditional events form part of the calendar organised by the Mallorca Council in different municipalities across the island.

Among the highlights are two exhibitions at the La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre, concerts in churches across the Part Forana, a gathering of Holy Week musical bands and several traditional events.

Holy Week exhibitions at La Misericòrdia

The La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre is hosting from today two exhibitions dedicated to the Mallorcan brotherhood tradition.

The 2nd Exhibition of Brotherhoods of Mallorca, open until 15 March in the Pati de les Dones hall, brings together brotherhood robes and banners from Palma and various municipalities across the island.

Meanwhile, the 4th Photographic Exhibition of Holy Week in Palma and musical groups can be visited until 10 April on the first floor of the Entrepatis building. The exhibition brings together the work of 15 photographers, offering an artistic and documentary view of the processions and traditions linked to these celebrations.

Both exhibitions can be visited from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (except on public holidays).

The president of the Mallorca Council, Llorenç Galmés, said that “these exhibitions are the starting point of a programme that aims to bring Holy Week closer to all citizens, highlight the work of the brotherhoods and emphasise the role of musical bands and the artistic eye of the photographers who year after year document the island’s cultural and religious tradition”.

Gathering of Holy Week musical bands at the Pati dels Homes of the La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre.

18 March – 8:30 pm
Concert by the Agrupació Musical Nostra Senyora de l’Esperança i la Pau at the church of Santa Maria del Camí.

21 March – 7:30 pm
Concert by the Banda Santa Mónica at the church of Sant Llorenç de Selva.

28 March

  • 8:00 pm – Concert by the Agrupación Musical Nuestro Padre Jesús de la Humildad at the church of Nostra Senyora de la Nativitat de Fornalutx.
  • 8:30 pm – Performance of the Stations of the Cross by the Agrupació Campanera de Pinyol Vermell at the church of Sant Bartomeu d’Alaró.

2 April (Maundy Thursday) – 7:00 pm
Participation of the Joch de Ministrils in the Sant Crist de la Sang procession in Palma, departing from the Pati d’Homes of the La Misericòrdia Cultural Centre.

3 April (Good Friday) – 10:00 pm
Participation of the Joch de Ministrils in the Solemníssima processó del Sant Enterrament i la Soledat de Maria, in Sineu, departing from the Convent de Sant Francesc.
