After the shows through the municipal theaters of Palma of renowned figures from the world of dance such as Daniel Abreu, National Dance Prize, or Janet Novàs and Mercedes Peón, among others, the second week of the PalmaDansa 2021 Festival begins.
Until May 9, citizens will be able to enjoy numerous performances throughout Palma’s geography, among which are “Now I dance”, by Leonor Leal, who reviews the history of flamenco, and “Anhelo”, a show dance in the street of the international company Marcat Dance.
“Bogumer” will be the work that will put an end to this dance cycle. An inclusive and intergenerational dance-theater show, the result of Vero Cendoya’s long experience in dance with groups with functional diversity.
“Oficis oblidats”, by the Daus company, has been rescheduled for health reasons and will be seen on June 8 at 7:00 p.m.

Program
“Now I dance”: Friday 7 at 7 pm at the Xesc Forteza Municipal Theater. A lecture danced on the play “Camelamos Naquerar”, by the Teatro Gitano Andaluz by Mario Maya on texts by José Heredia Maya.
“Longing”: Saturday 8 at 8 pm in the Façana Marítima park. A choreographic proposal that focuses on the sensation of human desire, turning it into dance.
“Bogumer”: Sunday 9 at 7 pm at the Xesc Forteza Municipal Theater. An inclusive work that explains a true story about the judgment of God carried out by Anatoli Lunacharski, from which he dialogues about the search for his own identity, the dynamics of power and the methods of mass manipulation.
