Less budget, but the key events are being maintained
Looking ahead to 2026, the budget for the patron saint festivities will be reduced by approximately 40%, a decision that follows a year marked by changes to the large-concert model.
For Sant Sebastià 2025, the main concert did not take place because the call for proposals received no applicants. However, during the Patroness festivities in September, the city opted for a
large-scale electronic music concert in Parc de la Mar, which drew a strong turnout. This context helps explain the budget adjustment for the January celebrations.
Even so, the City Council will maintain the core elements of the programme, such as:
- The festival’s Sus headline concert
- The two afternoon parties planned
- The Revetla and the Correfoc, symbols of Sant Sebastià
