The Teatre Principal de Palma has unveiled its Christmas programme, offering a selection of performances that include theatre, comedy, choral music, and activities for children. Highlights of the programme include the Concert de Nadal dels Cors, with all proceeds going to those affected by the DANA storms in Valencia, and a modern adaptation of El malalt imaginari by Molière, directed by Sergio Baos, which tackles contemporary issues such as denialism and pseudoscience.
The programme, designed for all audiences, combines tradition and modernity, with a special focus on families. Additionally, attendees of selected performances will benefit from two hours of free parking in the Plaça Major, Via Roma, and Antoni Maura car parks, thanks to an agreement with the Palma City Council.

11 and 12 December
- Concert de Nadal dels Cors (Christmas Concert by the Choirs)
The four choral groups of the Teatre Principal (Petitons, Infantil, Juvenil, and Titular) will perform a Christmas music concert. All proceeds will go to those affected by the DANA storms in Valencia.
15 December
- La comèdia dels dijous (The Thursday Comedy)
A play by Pere Riera, starring Llum Barrera, exploring second chances and romantic relationships in adulthood with a humorous touch.
27, 28, and 29 December
- Vai Via
At the Sala Petita, the Xirriquiteula Teatre company presents a family show that pays tribute to women who prioritised caring for their loved ones over their personal achievements.
3, 4, 10, and 11 January
- El malalt imaginari (The Imaginary Patient)
A modern reinterpretation of Molière’s classic, directed by Sergio Baos, which updates the satire to address topics like denialism and pseudoscience.
Free parking for attendees
The Consell de Mallorca and the Palma City Council are offering two hours of free parking in the Plaça Major, Via Roma, and Antoni Maura car parks for attendees of the Concert de Nadal dels Cors and Vai Via. To claim the discount, attendees need to present their parking ticket to the theatre staff, who will provide a voucher.
