The Migjorn Chamber Series is a series of classical music concerts that will take place across five municipalities in the Migjorn region of Mallorca. Llucmajor, Felanitx, Campos, Ses Salines, and Santanyí have been selected as the locations to bring music closer to a diverse audience. This series, organised by Illa Músics, will be held between September and October, and promises to offer a unique experience that blends tradition and innovation through the talent of Mallorcan musicians or those residing on the island.

Highlighted concerts of the Migjorn Chamber Series
- Campos (8th September): At the Convent dels Mínims, Catalina Roig Burguera (flute) and Maria Assumpció Janer (harp) will kick off the series with a programme that includes iconic pieces such as “Libertango” by Astor Piazzolla and “Por una Cabeza” by Carlos Gardel.
- Santanyí (15th September): The Church of Cala Figuera will host an experimental concert by percussionist Carlota Cáceres, titled “Converses de Marimba, Aspiradora i Jardins”, exploring the boundaries of contemporary percussion with works by Kaija Saariaho and Salvatore Sciarrino.
- Ses Salines (22nd September): At the Hotel Ca’n Bonico, Laura de la Fuente (vocals) and Llorenç Prats (piano) will present a recital that blends lyrical elegance with emotional depth, highlighting the tradition of Italian lyricism.
- Felanitx (29th September): Young guitarist Álvaro Jaén Navarro will offer a classical guitar recital. The musician will perform works by Francisco Tárrega, Georg Philipp Telemann, and more, in the heart of Felanitx.
- Llucmajor (5th and 6th October): The series will culminate with a piano recital by Rafael González Paz, who will perform Schumann’s “Carnaval Op. 9” among other works, in a vibrant finale that will close this series in an unforgettable way.
