The Marriott International hotel chain is looking for 130 workers for the Castillo hotel Son Vida, the Sheraton Mallorca and the St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort, the three establishments it manages on the island.

The tourist season is heating up and, just as Meliá Hotels did, Marriot is looking for talent to fill positions. The selection process ends this Friday and takes place at PalmaActiva, which facilitates direct contact between people looking for work and those responsible for human resources at companies looking for staff.

The positions to be filled are as follows: 10 reception assistants, 1 receptionist, 12 dishwashers, 10 kitchen assistants, 12 cooks, 6 heads of departure, 17 waiters, 15 waiter assistants, 5 heads sector, 20 floor waiters, 5 floor waiters; eleven lifeguards and 7 masseuses/beauticians.

According to Rodrigo Romero, Councilor for Economic Promotion and Employment, “these sessions show that the labor market continues to show signs of economic recovery.”
