Mallorca Global Mag winter 2025-2026

Mallorca Global Mag publishes its Winter edition 2025-2026, now available for download and at the usual distribution points, and in newsstands from Wednesday 31 December. Once again, the magazine presents an editorial proposal that takes the pulse of the island by addressing the current issues that concern and define Mallorca’s reality.

With 144 pages, this winter issue includes an exclusive interview with Ferran Adrià, one of the most influential voices in contemporary gastronomy, who reflects on the period of transformation the restaurant industry is going through. “It’s the most violent and disruptive change in the business model in my 43 years in the profession,” the chef says in a conversation on the island that goes far beyond the kitchen.

Another major focus is the impact of digital fraud in the Balearic Islands, the region with the highest growth in cybercrime in Spain, with keys to understanding how online scams operate and how to protect yourself. From an economic perspective, the magazine includes the Top 100 highest-grossing companies and the ranking of the leading fortunes in the islands, offering an up-to-date view of the archipelago’s business and financial landscape.

There is also room for stories that connect Mallorca’s past and present, from the conversion of the former Es Carnatge power plant into a cutting-edge fish farm, with an annual production of 50 million fry, to the traditional olive harvest at Son Perot and the epic achievement of Mallorcan mountaineering in Peru’s Cordillera Blanca.

As is customary, this edition pays special attention to contemporary culture, with an analysis of the international impact of Lux, the new album by Rosalía, and an interview with bestselling author Jeffrey Archer, who warns that “we are already in a world war”. The creative journey culminates with a portrait of the Pollença-born artist Joan Bennàssar and a profile of Simón Andreu, the most internationally recognised Mallorcan actor.

In addition, the magazine includes recommendations for books, albums, films and exhibitions, along with a comprehensive events diary through to April and a review of the year’s main news in the 2025 Yearbook.
