The highly anticipated 4th edition of the Fira de la Carn i l’Embotit 2025 de Sóller -Meat and Sausage Fair- will take place this Sunday, 16 March at the Mercat Municipal and Plaça del Mercat. The fair, which has attracted visitors from across the island in its three previous editions, will feature a significant novelty this year: its opening hours will be extended until 20:00, allowing attendees to enjoy the event for four more hours than in previous editions, when it used to conclude at 16:00.
The event, presented by the Ajuntament de Sóller, will once again combine gastronomy, culture, and tradition with a wide variety of activities. There will be an exhibition on the history and production of traditional cold cuts, sales points for meats and derived products, and a guided tour of Sóller’s sausage factories. Additionally, visitors can enjoy live cooking demonstrations (‘showcooking’) featuring recipes and tastings, as well as performances by Estol de Tramuntana, Xeremiers de Sóller, and Di Pinto Di Piu to create a lively atmosphere. Moreover, children will have access to workshops, entertainment, and other surprises. The extended opening hours will also introduce a ‘tardeo’ session with live music, keeping the celebration going until nightfall.

- Opening of the Fair-Market and inauguration of the exhibition ‘Història de fàbriques d’embotits de Sóller’ -History of Sóller’s Sausage Factories-, based on the book of the same name by Juan Antonio Fernández Vila and Antoni Quetglas Cifre.
- Opening performance by Xeremiers de Sóller.
- 10:00 to 16:00h.
- Mercat Municipal. Exhibition and sale of meat products and derivatives.

- 11:00 to 13:00h. Children’s workshops on different types of sobrasadas with Sa Llosa Petita.
- 12:00h. Performance by Estol de Tramuntana, the Asociación Cultural Buxainas group (Cedeira – A Coruña), and traditional dance.
- 13:30h. Entertainment by Di Pinto Di Piu.
- 16:00 to 20:00h. Tardeo (afternoon gathering with live music).
