During the fourth Assembly of Mayors of this term, held today in Calvià, the president of the Consell de Mallorca, Llorenç Galmés, together with the councillor for Economic Promotion and Local Development, Pilar Amate, outlined the main lines of aid and subsidies included in the Insular Government’s Investment and Aid Plan to boost local economies. “These contributions represent comprehensive support for our municipalities, as they cover improvements to cultural spaces, the upkeep of care homes for the elderly, and the promotion of local tourism and local products, among other actions,” said the president, who was convinced that “this type of concrete initiative translates into a better quality of life for residents.”
