The five-star Gran Hotel Sóller stands out as a family-friendly accommodation. As it is a small property with 53 rooms, it offers a very personalised service to its clients, trying at all times to cover their individual needs.

This is an indoor hotel opened in 2005 in the heart of Sóller, next to the municipal market.  It dates from the 19th century and was designed by the architect Joaquín Pavía Birmingham, who also designed the Palace of the Diputación de Mallorca and some extensions to the Cathedral of Palma. One of its charms is the swimming pool in the attic, which offers wonderful views of the Tramuntana mountains, a World Heritage Site. Lunch or dinner at the Ca’n Blau restaurant in the Gran Hotel Sóller becomes a unique experience thanks to the Mediterranean menu, the impeccable service of the staff and the landscaped surroundings of the terrace.  Some summer nights you can also enjoy live music.

The privileged environment of the serra, the respect for the tourist development which is preserved in this area of the island and the unique building from 1880 make this hotel unique. Each establishment of the Alvotel group is managed independently. The owners, a French family, wanted to reopen the hotels without thinking about the planned occupations and possible losses. For them, the value of the most loyal customers and employees is paramount.

The hotel is facing a different summer of 2020. It has adapted to the guidelines set by the Ministry of Health and has implemented all the necessary protocols to prevent possible contagion and a safe environment.

As a result of this new normality, the “À la carte” breakfast service has been created with a wide variety of complete breakfasts in different styles and prepared on the spot.
