The XIV edition of the Fira del Vi i del Formatge de Estellencs 2024 will be held on Wednesday 1st May from 11:00 am. This long-awaited event of a traditional nature continues to grow year after year, attracting a greater number of stalls and visitors. It has been held since 2009, with the exception of 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, establishing itself as a benchmark among Mallorca’s spring fairs.

As every year, the Fira del Vi i del Formatge de Estellencs 2024 focuses on a wide range of wine and cheese tasting, but also offers other quality products. At the stalls scattered around this small municipality in the Serra de Tramuntana you can find everything from delicious jams, fruit and olives to various examples of local craftsmanship.

Estellencs is one of the municipalities in the Serra where the grape variety known as Malvasia can be found. This variety is used to produce a wine of the same name that is highly recognised and appreciated among experts and wine enthusiasts. The Fira is the perfect occasion to taste it and enjoy its nuances.

Fira del Vi i del Formatge de Estellencs 2024 Activities

In addition to the market itself, Fira del Vi i del Formatge de Estellencs 2024 will offer other activities aimed at both children and adults, creating a unique atmosphere during the celebration of this event.

For the little ones at home, the CEIP Gabriel Palmer will host mini-football, mini-basketball and mini-volleyball games from 11 am to 2 pm; and at 12:30 pm there will be a Cube-Artístic painting workshop in the Plaça Trinquet.

For the adults, the illustrated presentation ‘Conèixer Gaspar Riera al seu poble, Estellencs’ (Meeting Gaspar Riera in his town, Estellencs), centred on the famous painter, will be held at the Espai Cultural Ses Cotxeries from 12 noon onwards. And from 3:30 p.m. onwards, the Associació de Joves (Youth Association) has organised a ‘tardeo’ with drinks at popular prices and solidarity herbal shots, which will be enlivened by the music of the groups Cabot and Decontrabando.
