The aroma of freshly baked bread mingles with the hustle and bustle of the crowds eager to sample the gastronomic delights of the Balearic Islands. This is the setting for the upcoming Fira del Llonguet 2024 in Es Pil-larí, where this iconic bread roll becomes the undisputed protagonist next Sunday 28th April.
The fair offers a window into authentic local gastronomy, where llonguets are the canvas on which a wide variety of flavours and fillings are displayed. From traditional sausages such as sobrasada to exquisite local cheeses, anchovies, prawns and other delicacies, every mouthful is an explosion of flavours.
The most remarkable thing about this fair is the passion and dedication with which each llonguet is prepared and presented to the customer. Always adapting to their preferences and palates. The master bakers are not only artisans, but also culinary artists who transform simple ingredients into authentic edible masterpieces.
But the Fira del Llonguet is much more than just a gastronomic exhibition. It is complemented by performances by xeremiers, street shows and artists who add a festive and lively touch to the atmosphere.
