This annual event, which makes Llucmajor the meeting point of Mallorca, offers a wide variety of commercial, cultural, artistic, gastronomic, leisure and sports activities. The 477th edition of the Fira de Llucmajor 2023 will be held from September 28th to October 29th and encompasses a rich tradition that dates back to 1546
Within this 477th edition of the Fira de Llucmajor 2023, in addition to the traditional Mostra Llucmajorera and Mostra Ramadera, you can visit the VIII Fira d’oportunitats, the XXII Fira Artesana and the Fira Frikijor, which reaches its IV edition. Since 2019 presents colloquiums, workshops, games and stands related to the magic of science fiction with colloquiums.
The Fira de Llucmajor hosts an important space for tradition and popular culture with its samples, crafts, ‘ball de bot’, exhibitions, concerts, ‘gegants’, ‘cavallets cotoner’s, ‘xeremiers’, in addition to competitions, art exhibitions, book presentations, sports and children’s activities.
The novelty of this year will be the Fira de Salut i Ment to be held on October 7, where to discover a lot of alternative and natural therapies, as well as workshops, lectures and a variety of products and services for physical and mental wellness.
Fira de Llucmajor 2023 Program
On Thursday, September 28, the festivities begin with the Pregón de Fires, an event that marks the official kick-off of the fair. It is the starting point for a celebration that embraces five weeks full of activities and fun.
The first ‘fira’, which is held on Friday, September 29, coincides with the feast of Sant Miquel, marked on the calendar as a second important day.
On the weekend, Saturday September 30 and Sunday October 1, comes the IV Frikijor Fair, an event that captures the spirit of science fiction with talks, workshops, games and stands that offer new perspectives and unique exhibits.
Then, on Saturday, October 7, the Health and Mind Fair takes place, an event that will open its doors to a wide range of alternative and natural therapies, accompanied by workshops and talks to promote physical and mental well-being.
On Sunday, October 8, the VIII Fair of Opportunities and the XXII Artisan Fair continue the celebrations.
Finally, the last fair, the XLIII Muestra Llucmajorera, unfolds on 13, 14 and 15 October, with a more traditional, but equally exciting.
