The Fira de la Mar de Sóller 2022 will take place in the Port on the weekend of 24 and 25 September. A gastronomic fair of local produce, with musical entertainment and children’s workshops that also has itineraries and guided tours. Since its first edition was held in 2016, the Fira de la Mar de Sóller 2022 returns after the pandemic to demonstrate that it is an increasingly consolidated event on Mallorca’s fair calendar.

Saturday 24

  • 9:30. Family Itinerary: Santa Caterina and the Torre Picada (Cherish Project) by +Cultura. Limited places.
  • 17:00. Guided tour: The history of the Port of Sóller. From the lighthouse of the Cross to the Oratory of Santa Caterina, by +Cultura. Limited places.
  • 17:00. Market of local craftsmen, in Carrer Antoni Montis.
  • 18:30. Round Table, at the Museum of the Sea: Coastal heritage, dry docks, secrets, toponymy… Toni Reynés, Josep Sossa, Tomàs Mut Ferragut, Gori Mayol “Passador” and Manolo Gómez. Moderator Miquel Vadell, Island Director of Territory and Landscape of the Consell de Mallorca.
  • 19:30-23:00. Horabauxa, Gastronomy + music with Ortiga Folk. Can Lluís, Can Petit Bistro, Hotel Esplèndid, Sa Sullerica Cervesa,

Sunday 25

  • 11:30. Inauguration of the Fair by the Authorities and accompanied by the Xeremiers de Sóller.
  • 11:30. Market of local artisans in Carrer Antoni Montis.

At the commercial Moll:

  • 11:30. Children’s workshops run by the Balearic Museum of Natural Sciences and the Museum of the Sea in Sóller.
  • Exhibition of Naval Models of traditional boats, tools and equipment by the Maestros de Azuela, run by the Consell de Mallorca’s Maestros de Azuela. Workshop on knots and net making by skipper Jaume Amengual. Exhibition by the mestre d’aixa Sebastià Vidal.
  • 12:00. Storytelling for children La Princesa que feia Llaüts del Hada despistada.
  • 12:30. Gastronomic Fair. Ca’l Bisbe, Can Lluís, Can Petit Bistro, Hotel Esplèndid, Sa Sullerica Cervesa, Tramuntana Viva, Centre Capvespre.
