Next weekend, October 5th and 6th, the town of Sant Joan will once again light its grills to celebrate one of its most iconic festivals: the Festa del Botifarró. This event combines tradition, music, and local gastronomy, keeping the community spirit alive since 1966. For two days, Plaça de la Constitució will be the stage for a feast where fire, good food, and fun will be ever-present.

The Festa del Botifarró was first organized in 1966 by the Sant Joan Motor Club and was later declared a tourist attraction. Though it has seen both highs and lows, in recent years the festival has made a strong comeback, filling the Plaça de la Constitució once again with people eager to join this deeply rooted local celebration.
This year, the event’s organization is once again in the hands of the Sant Joan Youth Association and CE Sant Joan, who are dedicated to keeping the essence of this festival alive, centered on simplicity: fire, good company, and traditional foods like sobrassada and botifarró.
An authentic, traditional experience in the heart of Mallorca, the Festa del Botifarró de Sant Joan 2024 promises two unforgettable days of gastronomy, music, and festive atmosphere.
