Sant Joan celebrates this weekend -1 and 2 October- its Festa del Botifarró 2022. As has been the tradition since the 1960s, on the first weekend of October the residents of the municipality take to the streets to bake bread and botifarró. A way of extolling this local Mallorcan product and enjoying one of the municipality’s popular parties. Exhibitions, musical performances, DJs and, above all, torradas -barbecues- and botifarró will be the focus of the event on Saturday and Sunday.

The programme of the Festa del Botifarró 2022 in Sant Joan will take place in the Plaza de la Constitución.

Saturday 1st October

  • 18:00. Children’s musical performance. Concert by Conte Contat.
  • 20:00. Bbq and party.
  • 23:30. In concert: Cirko.
  • 1:00. Dj Peptronik.
  • 2:30. Dj Biel Castell.
  • 4:00. Dj Kapi.

Sunday 2nd October

  • 11:00. Encesa de Torradores Festa del Botifarró. Exhibition of motorbikes and vehicles. Bike Trial demonstration. Organised by the Peña Motorista de Sant Joan.
  • 13:00. Dinar de Torrada with local produce.
  • 17:00. Popular dance. Aires de Pagesia.
  • 19:30. Musical performance. Joan & Simon.
  • 23:00. End of party.
