The Feria de Abril 2026 of Palma (Andalusian April Fair) will be held from 23 to 26 April at the Son Fusteret venue, thirteen years after the last edition was held in 2013. The event, organised by the Casa de Andalucía in the Balearic Islands in collaboration with the Palma City Council, returns with the aim of establishing itself as “an emblematic event in the city’s festive calendar”, as stated by mayor Jaime Martínez Llabrés.
During the four days of the fair, the venue will feature marquees, food areas and stages hosting performances of sevillanas, flamenco and rumba, along with a range of cultural activities. The programme will also include traditional Andalusian cuisine, the traditional Rociera Mass and a mounted police display.
Official presentation of the Feria de Abril 2026 in Palma
The official presentation of the event took place in the Plenary Hall of Palma City Hall and was chaired by the mayor of Palma, together with the deputy mayor and councillor for Citizen Participation, Lourdes Roca, and the president of the Casa de Andalucía in the Balearic Islands, Rafael del Rey.
During the event, the mayor stressed that the return of the fair is the result of collaboration between the City Council and the Andalusian organisation, which he described as “a meeting point and a space for coexistence for thousands of people, helping to keep their roots and identity alive even when the fair was not being held in its full form”.
Martínez Llabrés also underlined the municipal government’s commitment to “building an open, diverse and welcoming city, where coexistence and respect between cultures form part of Palma’s identity”. In this regard, he said that the aim is for the Feria de Abril to be “an authentic space where Andalusian traditions, music, gastronomy and folklore are celebrated”.
The presentation event also included a musical performance by Miguel Crespo and Victoria Lara, members of the group Pura Raza.
