EMT Palma has announced the implementation of new schedules that will take effect on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. These changes include reinforcements on key lines such as A1, A2, L4, and L25, aiming to improve frequencies and provide additional services during the nighttime hours, thereby adapting to fluctuations in demand associated with the end of the school year and the peak tourist season.

New schedules and affected lines by EMT Palma

  • Lines with adjustments for high season:
    • Line A1 (Aeroport-Palma Centre): Frequency every 12 minutes from Monday to Sunday. Night service extended until 1:25 AM.
    • Line A2 (Aeroport-S’Arenal): Frequency every 25 minutes daily. Night service extended until 1:25 AM.
    • Line L4 (Ses Illetes): Frequency every 8 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays. Frequency every 10 minutes on Sundays. Includes night service on weekdays and weekends.
    • Line L25 (S’Arenal – Pl de la Reina): Frequency every 5/6 minutes on weekdays and Saturdays. Frequency every 5/8 minutes on Sundays and holidays. Includes night service on weekdays and weekends.
    • Line L35 (Parc Aquàtic – Pl de la Reina): Frequency every 9/10 minutes on weekdays. Frequency every 10 minutes on Saturdays. Frequency every 12 minutes on Sundays. Improved night service on weekends.
    • Line L23: Will have special reinforcements.
  • Lines with adjustments due to reduced school demand:
    • Line L5 (Es Rafal Nou-Plaça Progrés): Frequency every 8 minutes.
    • Line L8 (Son Roca-Sindicat): Frequency every 8.5 minutes.
    • Line L7 (Son Gotleu-Son Serra/Sa Vileta): Frequency every 10 minutes.
    • Line L10 (Son Castelló-Sindicat): Frequency every 15 minutes from Monday to Friday.
    • Line L11 (Sa Indioteria): Schedule adjustment and combined frequency.
    • Line L22 (Piscines Son Hugo): Schedule adjustment and combined frequency.
  • Other adjustments:
    • Line 19 (to UIB and Parc Bit): Frequency every 30 minutes.
    • Line 36: Frequency of 60 minutes to ensure compliance with the established route time.
