Inca’s Dijous Bo 2022 is warming up ahead of its celebration on 17 November. A programme full of activities for locals and visitors that continues the three autumn fairs. The mayor of the municipality, Virgilio Moreno, anticipates the arrival of “the fair of fairs, the great fair of Mallorca” and encourages the inquers to “show all the best of ourselves”. In this way, he also invites the participation of all groups, associations and companies to once again highlight the traditional Dijous Bo 2022 festival.
Dijous Bo 2022 programme in Inca
The Dijous Bo 2022 events will begin on Friday 11 November with the opening speech by Joana Maria Coll. It will be held at Inca’s Teatre Principal at 8:30 pm. It will be followed by a concert by Ensemble Lumière and the Orfeó L’Harpa d’Inca. The main event on Saturday the 12th will be Vermut Fest 2022, the vermouth and tapas festival. From 10:00 until 22:00, organised by the Associació Mufadors and the Town Hall in the Plaça del Mercat Cobert. At 19:00, among other activities, there will be a children’s correfoc in the Plaça d’Espanya.
On Sunday morning it is the turn of the XXI Trobada de Gegants and in the afternoon, the lighting of all the bonfires of Inca and a popular dance with the group Revetlers des Puig d’Inca in the Plaça del Bestiar.
The activities continue until Wednesday when, at 17:00, Dijous Bo will be inaugurated with Chirimías and Revetlers and the cutting of the ribbon. This will be followed by the itinerant entertainment along the route of the peasant market from Plaça del Bestiar to Plaça d’Espanya. The festival will continue into the night and the following day, with numerous events programmed to commemorate one of the most characteristic festivities of the capital of El Raiguer. This year’s Dijous Bo programme runs until 27th November.
