The Diada de Mallorca 2025 (Mallorca Day), which will be commemorated on 12 September, returns with a programme more deeply rooted and diverse than ever, with cultural, sporting and festive activities across every corner of the island. The programme begins on 7 September and runs until 21 September, offering more than two weeks of events for all audiences. This year, the central theme of the commemoration is the 150th anniversary of the poem El pi de Formentor, a symbolic pine tree on the Formentor peninsula immortalised by Miquel Costa i Llobera. It represents Mallorca’s natural beauty, resilience, and cultural identity.
