The increase in positive cases in the Balearic Islands is being exceeded day by day. The Ministry of Health reported 3,993 cases in the last 24 hours and four deaths, a sum that amounts to 1,072 since the start of the pandemic.

The positivity rate of diagnostic tests performed in the last hours stands at 24.05%. Regarding the number of cases per island, Mallorca had 2,991, Eivissa added 470, Menorca registered 331 and Formentera registered 43.

The occupancy level in ICU reaches 21.11% and the trend continues to rise. And Primary Care continues to top with 32,170 infected.

The IB-Salut has placed 1,962,367 doses of the coronavirus vaccine. 82.71% of the population have the complete regimen and 85.67% have a dose. So far, 143,741 people have been infected in the Balearic Islands.
