The concerts in Palma continue this spring since the first one given by Rels B on March 18 at the Parc de Sa Riera. The rescheduling of the Sant Sebastià 2022 concerts continues this Friday with Mallorcan folk, rumba, cumbia and funk.
Concerts in Palma: Plaza Mayor and Plaza España
At 8:30 p.m. in Plaza Mayor, Qanarusa, the Sencelles folk group, so popular in the interior of the island, performs. At 10:00 p.m. it will be the turn of Al-Mayurqa, a traditional Majorcan music group that since 1994 has addressed local culture and Mediterranean heritage, on the way between tradition and author song.
Plaza España, for its part, will be the scene of three very cutting-edge proposals. At 9:30 p.m., the singer-songwriter Mon Joan Tiquat will stage his eclectic musical proposal, which ranges from jazz to pop and electronic rhythms without neglecting classical music.
Originally from the S’Arenal neighborhood, the group Cabrón will make you dance from 10:15 p.m. based on swing, funk, rock and cumbia with their catchy songs such as “La chica del PP”. The night will close at 11:30 pm Roba Estesa, the female musical octet from Catalonia that fuses urban music with instrumentation and folk melodies.
