This Saturday you can still visit the Christmas playground of Calvià located in the Galatzó pavilion. Another good option to spend Christmas with children in Mallorca is to visit the market of Puerto Portals which continues with its doors open until January 6th.
The Christmas Park of Calvià is a special event in Mallorca where you can find a great variety of games, attractions, crafts, musical performances and children’s activities. In addition, outside the enclosure, located in the Paquita Revert square, there is a special tent also dedicated to the little ones.
Admission is 2 euros per person per day, but a family ticket is offered for 6 euros. Its proceeds are for charitable purposes, and this year will go to the social entity ‘Es Capdellà smiles and helps’.
Its schedule this December 30 is from 10 to 14 and 16 to 20 hours. As a special performance at 5 pm there will be a magic show by Alessio Paoletti.
There will also be a workshop organized by the Archaeological Park Puig de Sa Morisca to discover prehistory in a fun way.
Christmas Market in Puerto Portals
Christmas Market of Puerto Portals is one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Europe, according to some national and international publications. And this 2023 it surprises with an even more varied selection of stalls and top quality products.
In its more than 40 wooden booths decorated with the elegance of lights and lampposts you will find decoration, natural cosmetics, accessories, art, gourmet products and children’s clothing, among others. Puerto Portals also bets on the product of Mallorca and its booths offer nougat, chocolates, sweets and liquors of the island.
Until January 6, the Marina is also full of activities for the whole family. We can find Christmas decoration workshops, gifts, wishes, playmobil and the Blue Marina project that cares for the environment and the sea. The little ones will also be able to participate in yoga workshops, Christmas face painting, music, theater and dance.
Live music and swing are a regular feature every Friday with performances by the Xmas Band and Monkey Doo, among others. All workshops and shows are free, except for the skating rink.
More surprises and illusion will come from the hand of the Three Wise Men who will disembark at the Port on January 5 in the afternoon before starting their long night of gift-giving.
