Canet Rock Mallorca 2023: Cancelled

Although the second edition of Canet Rock Mallorca 2023 was scheduled to be held in July, the organisation has finally cancelled the event. A music festival inspired by the format of Canet Rock del Maresme in Barcelona, which in 2023 was intended to host the most representative bands of Catalan and Balearic music. Initially, this second edition was expected to surpass the first, which saw its birth and attracted thousands of people to the north of the island. However, in a press release, the organisers have regretted the suspension of the festival.

“CanetRock Mallorca was born last year with great success but also with the difficulties of being the first edition of an event of these characteristics. This year’s second edition had to consolidate the festival, maintain last year’s success and overcome these difficulties to guarantee the economic viability and continuity of the project. But as of today, and despite the good response from the public, the conditions are not in place to make the festival viable in the way we had planned, to guarantee a satisfactory experience for all the attendees. It is with great sadness that we are forced to announce the cancellation of CanetRock Mallorca 2023”.

Refund of Canet Rock 2023 tickets

Those who have already purchased tickets for Canet Rock 2023 will be contacted for a refund. “We would like to thank all the artists, suppliers, partners and sponsors who have supported the festival so far. Also, and very specially, to all the people who had bought a ticket for this edition. We will work to manage the refunds of the tickets purchased so far and we will contact the buyers with specific instructions in this regard,” explained the organisers.
