The Government has launched the call for the programme to stimulate the commercial sector “Balears, shopping vouchers”, aimed at micro and small commercial enterprises on the islands or certain service companies. The call for this 2024 discount voucher campaign in Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera has a budget of 1,375,200 euros. The campaign subsidises the purchase of goods at retailers participating in the campaign by means of a discount voucher.
Balearic shopping vouchers: Campaign 2024
The Balearic Islands 2024 shopping voucher campaign will begin on 24 April and end on 30 June. Shops interested in joining the programme can apply between 15 March and 9 April. To do so, they should go to the website of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Mallorca. This is the collaborating entity, which will enable them to carry out the process (www.bonsillesbalears.com).
The discount vouchers that will be made available to citizens can be used in one or several establishments and in a single purchase. The amount of discount that can be applied is 15 euros for every 30 euros consumed.
How can you buy the discount vouchers?
From 24 April, people over the age of 16 with a national identity card, foreigner’s identification number or passport will be able to purchase a product from one of the commercial establishments participating in the campaign. The vouchers can be purchased at the establishment where the purchase is to be made. Each discount voucher is worth €15 on a minimum purchase of €30. Each beneficiary of the vouchers can access a maximum of 4 discount vouchers that can be used in a single purchase or establishment, or applied in different purchases and participating establishments.
