This Sunday, 21 September, a bike ride through the centre of Palma will take place, a popular event organised as part of the European Mobility Week that aims to fill the capital’s most iconic streets with bicycles.
The route, covering 2.7 kilometres with a minimal gradient, is suitable for all ages. The ride will start at 10:30 am from Plaça Joan Carles I and will pass through Unió, La Rambla, Baró de Pinopar and Camí de Jesús, finishing at Parc de Sa Riera.
The bike ride through the centre of Palma, organised by the City Council, is a family-friendly event aimed at promoting sustainable mobility and encouraging cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly mode of transport.
Participation is free and registrations are now open on the website www.mobipalma.mobi, where participants can fill out a form with their name and number of attendees.
Under the slogan “Mobility for Everyone”, European Mobility Week 2025 emphasises the need to promote an accessible, inclusive and environmentally responsible urban transport model.
