Balearic Islands closed the year 2025 with the highest annual average Social Security affiliation in the entire historical series, reaching 584,875 people in employment. This figure represents 14,865 more affiliates than in 2024, equivalent to year-on-year growth of 2.6%, consolidating the positive momentum of the Balearic labour market.

The Minister for Labour, Public Service and Social Dialogue, Catalina Cabrer, highlighted that the Balearic Islands remain in a situation of full employment throughout the year, with clear signs of labour market de-seasonalisation, even during months of lower tourism activity.
