Christmas 2025 events calendar in Mallorca

Christmas once again transforms Mallorca in December with a wide range of festive activities. Traditional nativity scenes take centre stage and can be visited in venues such as the Consell, La Misericòrdia or the Ajuntament de Palma. Also noteworthy are the nativity scenes at the Mercat de Santa Catalina and the Convent de Santa Clara, both open until 6 January.

Christmas markets complete the festive atmosphere: this year with the new addition of stalls in sa Feixina. In other areas such as La Rambla there are stands offering handicrafts and local products. Plaça Major continues to focus on figures and accessories for nativity scenes.

The Son Fusteret fairground hosts Circo Alegría with its show Cuento de Navidad, starring the jester Richi Richetto, with several performances up to 4 January 2026.

Puerto Portals hosts its Christmas Market from 12 December to 6 January, with more than forty wooden stalls, gastronomic offerings and an ice rink. A Christmas market with activities for the whole family.

Port Adriano opens its Christmas Park, with a 300 m² eco ice rink, giant slide and family activities. Free entry and attractions. From 19 December to 7 January, from 12:00 to 20:00 (on the 24th and 31st until 16:00). Visits from Father Christmas on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th, and from King Melchior on 2, 3 and 4 January.

Yunez Chaib presents one hour of live comedy at the Auditorium of Palma. Known for his stand-up performances on Comedy Central and his collaboration on RTVE’s La Revuelta, the show has an approximate running time of 65 minutes. At 20:30.

The Teatre Principal stages Cyrano, La Impaciència’s version of Edmond Rostand’s classic. A contemporary and entertaining production performed by three actors who explore verse, imagination and the heroic spirit of the character. Performances on 20 and 21 December at 18:00.

Miguel Poveda presents El árbol de la alegría, a Christmas concert that blends tradition, family memories and new compositions, produced by Jesús Guerrero. At the Auditorium, at 21:30.

The Teatre Principal presents Gegant, a play by Mark Rosenblatt starring Josep Maria Pou as Roald Dahl. Direct from the West End and winner of three Olivier Awards 2025, it portrays a crucial afternoon in the writer’s life. At 20:00.

On Christmas Eve, the Night of Matins brings together Midnight Mass and the chant of the Sibil·la, a medieval tradition recognised by UNESCO and celebrated throughout Mallorca. In Palma, the Cathedral hosts it at 23:00. At the Sanctuary of Lluc, the chant takes place at 19:00, performed by the Escolania de Lluc.

Agustín “El Casta” returns to the Auditorium with his Especial de Navidad 2025, a Christmas comedy classic on the island that comes back once again to the stage in Palma. Performances on 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 December, and on 1 January 2026, at different times.

Ariel arrives at the Auditòrium with a musical version for the whole family that brings to life the story of the young mermaid who dreams of discovering the human world. It combines songs, adventure and a message about following one’s own path. Performances on 26, 27 and 28 December from 17:00.

The church of Santa Eulàlia in Palma hosts the traditional Festa de la Sibil·la, one of Mallorca’s most emblematic Christmas rites. More information at capellamallorquina.com.

Trui Teatre presents El Grinch, el musical, a family-friendly version of the Christmas classic in which the grumpy Grinch tries to steal Christmas from the inhabitants of Whoville until Cindy Lou changes his fate. Performances on 27 and 28 December at 17:00.

The Teatre Principal d’Inca stages Los yugoslavos, a theatrical production included in the town’s Christmas programme. More information and tickets at teatreprincipalinca.com.

Palma celebrates the Festa de l’Estendard, which commemorates the conquest of the city by King Jaume I in 1229. At 10:15 the Royal Standard of the Conquest and the crest of King Martí are placed in Plaça de Cort.

Palma holds the San Silvestre 2025, a popular race with a maximum of 1,300 participants. A classic sporting event of the Christmas season.

The last night of the year culminates with the twelve chimes at midnight on 31 December in front of the d’en Figuera clock, on the façade of the Ajuntament de Palma, an unmissable event to bid farewell to 2025.
