Balears will once again be present at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) 2026, held in Madrid from 21 to 25 January, with a proposal focused on culture as a driver of tourism during the low season, local gastronomy and destination sustainability.
Balears’ participation in FITUR 2026 aims to strengthen its positioning within the national market, betting on a more diversified tourism model aligned with seasonality reduction.
An accessible and sustainable stand for Balears at FITUR 2026

Balears’ presence at FITUR revolves around a stand of more than 1,000 m², fully accessible and financed with funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan – EU Next Generation.
It is the same design unveiled in the previous edition, inspired by water and the care of natural resources, with a clear commitment to sustainability both in materials and in the construction process.
The space is organised into:
-
Distinct areas for Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera
-
A central agora as a meeting point
-
Meeting, presentation and press rooms
-
A dedicated space for gastronomic activities and local products
Town councils, companies and radio stations present at the Balears stand
The Balears stand will feature the participation of:

All town councils from Menorca
-
14 private co-exhibitors from the tourism, hotel, mobility and experiences sectors
-

To facilitate professional activity, a table booking system has been enabled, allowing companies and entities to organise work meetings efficiently.
