Here comes the Festa des Vermar 2025 (Grape Harvest Festival) in Binissalem, the grand celebration of wine, tradition and local culture that transforms the town into a lively stage full of music, gastronomy, culture and joy. From 5 September to 3 October, residents and visitors can immerse themselves in a unique experience, coinciding with “Sa Vermada” (the grape harvest) and enjoying the richness of the wine heritage, recognised by the prestigious DO Binissalem Mallorca. The Binissalem Town Hall has prepared a comprehensive programme of activities for all ages, offering moments to share, feel inspired and celebrate a tradition that unites generations.

This year, the traditional events that make this celebration unique will not be missing: the Diada d’Estocs on 7 September at 10:00 in the Plaça de l’Església, a lively shopping and local products tour; the Tast de Vins on 9 September at 21:00 in Can Gelabert, an exclusive wine tasting experience; the Diada ciclista Festa des Vermar on 13 September at 09:00, a joyful bike ride through the town; the Gran Batalla de Raïm on 20 September at 12:00 in the Polígon, followed by the Dinar i Festa dels Trepitjadors at 14:00 in the Plaça de l’Església, featuring the traditional fideus de vermar; the Grape Stomping Contest on 21 September at 17:00 in Cantó de Can Mequis, a spectacle of tradition and popular music; the Carrosses Parade on 27 September at 17:00 through the main streets of the town, showcasing creativity and tradition; the Grand Revetlla on 27 September from 22:00 in the Plaça de l’Església, with live music and a party until dawn; and the Wine Fair on 27 and 28 September in the Parc de la Rectoria, where visitors can taste the finest wines of DO Binissalem Mallorca.

News and highlighted activities

Among the novelties of Festa des Vermar 2025 are the performance of the play “POBRES CASATS” at the Teatre Municipal, and the Sa Batummm 2025 experience, which will allow participants to relive the music and rhythm learned during the diada. Additionally, the bicycle decoration on 12 September at the Parc de la Rectoria will foster creativity among the little ones and family participation. The Maria del Mar Bonet concert on 13 September at 21:00 in Can Gelabert promises to be one of the highlights, featuring her unmistakable voice and a repertoire that blends tradition and modernity, accompanied by Toni Pastor on the lute and Marc Grasas on guitar. Furthermore, on 20 September from 15:30, the groups Coolcab, Cirko, Tardes en el Café, Val 9 and DJs Biel Castell, Anto Cabanellas and Peptronik will enliven the Plaça de l’Església with music and dance, completing a programme that combines tradition, fun and creativity in every corner of the town.
