Palma will host tomorrow Saturday, 20 September, from 18:00 to 23:00 hours, the Nit de l’Art 2025 (Night of Art 2025), an emblematic event that marks the start of the artistic season in the Balearic Islands. Organised by Art Palma Contemporani (APC), this 29th edition will bring together 14 contemporary art galleries presenting a varied programme with exhibitions by local, national and international artists. Nit de l’Art 2025 offers a unique opportunity to get closer to the most current and diverse proposals within the city’s cultural scene, with activities and visits open to all kinds of audiences.

Nit de l’Art 2025, a diverse and quality programme
The event will present, as it has for nearly three decades, a diverse and high-quality programme in the participating galleries. At BARÓ, visitors will be able to see the solo project by the collective assume vivid astro focus. ABA ART will exhibit works by the Mallorcan artist Miquel Mesquida, while LA BIBI + REUS will feature individual exhibitions by Karolina Albricht and Maite and Manuel in their two spaces. CCA Andratx will include projects by Charlie Stein and Lars Nørgard.

Meanwhile, Galería Pelaires will showcase two exhibitions curated by Saša Bogojev: a solo exhibition by Andrei Pokrovskii and a group exhibition featuring artists such as Katherine Bradford and Aubrey Levinthal. At Fermay, there will be a group exhibition including Damaris Pan, Elisa Braem and Edward Lipski. Florit / Florit will present four projects, including solo shows by Fermín Jiménez Landa, Daniel Ferstl and Raphael Pohl, alongside a group exhibition on the second floor.
Additionally, Xavier Fiol will propose two exhibitions: a group show at his space on San Jaume Street and another at Son Armadams, featuring young artists and a performance. Galería Maior will celebrate its 35th anniversary with an exhibition curated by Mònica Galván and Jaume Reus. Finally, solo exhibitions will be presented by Jack Burton (Tube Gallery), Ruben Rodrigo (Pep Llabrés Art Contemporani) and Lola Berenguer (6a Taller i Galeria).
Renowned cultural institutions such as Es Baluard, Casal Solleric and the Fundació Miró will also participate in the programme.
Free guided tours
As every year, APC will organise free guided tours in October and November through the participating galleries, in various languages and led by art professionals. A professional programme has also been prepared, involving curators, collectors and representatives from prestigious institutions.
Nit de l’Art 2025 is supported by the Consell de Mallorca, the Ajuntament de Palma and the Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics, as well as sponsored by entities such as Nivia Born Boutique Hotel, Sant Francesc Hotel and Hotel Victoria Gran Meliá, which this year will host an exhibition in collaboration with Galería Pelaires. In addition, a special installation by the artist Guillem Nadal is expected in the courtyard of the Sant Francesc Hotel.
